Your video stays on your device
When you choose a video, preview and export run locally in your browser. We do not upload the source recording or exported clips to our servers. The video processing engine downloads only when needed. Closing the tab clears the current editing session. A downloaded clip or ZIP remains wherever your browser saved it.
Website hosting
Vercel serves this website and receives ordinary requests for pages and assets. Those requests can include your IP address, browser information, and the URLs you request. We use hosting data to operate and protect the site.
Optional analytics and recordings
If you choose “Accept analytics,” we send page views and editing actions to PostHog and load Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings and Google Analytics for traffic reports. Events identify this product as VideoMultiCut Web. We measure actions such as file selection, clip creation, export attempts and results, errors, and page performance. We do not intentionally send video bytes, filenames, clip names, or file content as event properties.
Clarity recordings can show the page layout, clicks, pointer movement, and visible interface text. The Clarity project uses Relaxed masking, so ordinary page text is visible in recordings; Microsoft says text typed into input boxes remains masked. A clip name rendered elsewhere on the page may still appear. Avoid putting confidential information in clip names if you enable recordings. Video playback content is processed locally; Clarity says it cannot capture the pixels inside canvas elements, and this policy does not promise that every browser or future rendering path hides video imagery.
Analytics providers may set identifiers or cookies after you accept. They can process your IP address and device information under their own policies. Our site does not contact these optional providers until you accept. If you reject, the site remains usable. You can change the choice at any time using Privacy choices. Rejecting later saves that choice, removes our local analytics identifier, and reloads the page without the optional scripts; data already received by a provider is subject to its retention policy.

The browser stores your analytics choice for this site. Clearing site data also clears that choice. For access or deletion questions about data we control, contact hello@audiomulticut.com. AudioMultiCut is a separate website with its own privacy policy. The native iOS app has a separate privacy policy when released.
