How to Save Several Clips from a Zoom Recording
Download a Zoom recording you are allowed to use, mark several useful moments, and export each one as its own video file.

Check Zoom's own clip controls first
Zoom supports trimming cloud recordings and saving highlights as clips in supported workflows. Use those controls when the recording should stay in Zoom and a shared Zoom link meets the recipient's needs.
Use VideoMultiCut when you have an authorized downloaded video and need several ordinary video files. The browser editor does not connect to Zoom, change Zoom sharing permissions, or download a recording from a link.
Build clips around decisions and answers
Open the downloaded recording and write a short list of the parts people need. For a project meeting, that might be approved direction, launch date, design demonstration, and open question. Mark each range and use those phrases as clip names.
Include the question when an answer depends on it. For a demonstration, start before the presenter clicks the control and end after the result appears. This creates a usable clip instead of a timestamp with missing context.
Keep private meeting details out of the clip
Review the whole selected range before export. Chat notifications, attendee names, private tabs, and later comments can appear outside the sentence you intended to share. Tighten the range when those details are not needed.
VideoMultiCut processes the chosen source in the browser, but a downloaded clip can still contain confidential meeting content. Store and share the new file according to the same permissions and policies as the recording.
Export files that can be reviewed independently
Export one range and open the downloaded file. If it works, export the remaining clips or make a ZIP. Add the source date or meeting name to filenames when people handle recordings from several sessions.
The exported clips do not include Zoom's transcript, comments, viewer analytics, or access controls. Keep the Zoom recording when those features matter. Use the local files for the moments that need to be sent, attached, or edited elsewhere.
